About the class

For : women of any age who would like to understand more about monthly cycles, peri-menopause and menopause.

Learn what influences and helps manage key symptoms including diet and lifestyle. Experience gentle movement practices to ease aching joints, mindfulness exercises to settle your mood, and breath practices to help manage energy.

Women of all ages benefit from being well informed about the Menopause process, which is often not clearly understood or supported. Whether you wish to better prepare yourself now for when this time comes, to discover tools to support you through it, or to gain insight into your wellness priorities beyond it, this course is packed with useful information and tips.

During this women-only course Ruth explains the biological aspects of this time, gives an overview of the latest research in this area, and highlights some lesser-known symptoms, from physical to mental and emotional. We explore yoga and other holistic tools to support all phases - before, during, and after.

These sessions are often filled with laughter as we share questions and experiences with each other. There is time to reflect on your priorities, challenges, learning points, and how you respond to the various practices covered. You may want to bring a small notebook and pen to record anything that resonates with you, to refer back to.

At the end of the course, you will have a clear understanding of this time of transition, your bespoke toolkit to support where you are now, and a roadmap to help navigate your future.

About Ruth:

Ruth is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist (CNHC registered). Her teaching connects the many facets of a yoga practice, creating space for students to develop skills to support their wellbeing.

Please bring anything you need to sit comfortably, a pad and pen, and your yoga mat. There are props at the studio but you are very welcome to bring your own.
