Expect a mindful practice, with a focus on matching breathing to movement, and a lot of fun as well.
Bring a yoga mat, your water bottle and wear warm layers that you can move freely in.
About Richard :
Richard began yoga in 2016, coming from a background in Chinese martial arts and Qi Gong. He tries hard to make yoga a daily practice, but doesn’t always succeed!
For the last two years he has practised mainly at OrangeYoga, and completed his 200 hours teacher training with Ian in 2023. He is currently beginning his 300 hours qualification.
He likes a strong Vinyasa flow, and styles such as Ashtanga and Rocket. He really enjoys playing with hand balances and inversions, and aims to incorporate these in his teaching so that they can be accessible to everyone.
As well as the physical challenge, he enjoys the feeling of connection and peace that yoga offers. Richard is keen to share his love of yoga, and the physical and mental benefits that it gives.
As a recently qualified teacher, he is aware of just how much there is still to learn, and is looking forward to continuing his studies and practice, and to sharing these with his fellow yoga students.
