About the class

A one-day workshop to get newly qualified yoga teachers started.

Have you recently qualified as a yoga teacher? Congratulations! Now what?

Ideal for newly graduated yoga teachers who have recently completed their YTT200, this one day course will take you from being a yoga teacher newbie to building your own student community and earning money.

Starting out as a yoga teacher can be a combination of excitement, anxiety and confusion as you try to figure out your next steps.

The Business of Yoga one day workshop will help you become aware of the major pitfalls, cover the whats, wheres and hows, and run you through the checklist of to-dos to ensure you’ve got all the basics covered and are ready to get teaching!

Things we’ll cover:

● Getting started - what to do day 1

● How to get bums on mats

● Marketing outreach

● Building your brand

● Nurturing your data

● Things you need to know about finance

● Making technology work for you

● How to cope with the ups and downs

● How to keep your yoga business going

We’ll cover the key building blocks to help you formulate your own yoga teacher plan step-by-step and give you the confidence to begin your Yoga Teacher journey.

As part of the course you’ll be provided with templates for health forms, invoicing and marketing and by the end you’ll be ready to establish your yoga business, whether that’s teaching once a week or taking the leap to change your life direction.

Your Teacher:

7 years ago, Rosie founded Rosieglo Yoga and has grown it from a once a week class in a church hall to an established yoga studio with a team of teachers and thousands of students through the door.

She regularly teaches on retreats and outreach wellbeing programmes within the corporate, education and medical sectors.

Before becoming a yoga teacher Rosie worked in donor management, events organisation, marketing, digital project management and consulting and is experienced in growing online communities and real-life ones too. Rosie launched Rosieglo in order to escape the desk-bound corporate grind and establish a more fulfilling work-life balance.

Rosie is a 500RYT qualified in Anatomy and Physiology Level 3, Yoga for Sleep Recovery, Menopause Yoga, Thai Massage, Yogalates and Yoga for Parkinsons and loves to apply her knowledge to demystify yoga and make it accessible for all.

The Business of Yoga one-day workshop will help to answer all those questions you have when starting out and guide you as you set off on your own yoga teaching path.
