Find ease and steadiness in balances and transitions.
A fun and challenging workshop for all levels.

- £20 -

About the class

In this workshop we will take a detailed look at three fun balances, and use the time allowed to help you find a strong foundation and set up.

We will begin with a flow based practice designed to warm the body and prepare us for the work ahead.

We will explore the benefits of each posture, noting some of the key elements that may challenge us (physically & mentally!).

We will look at variations and transitions, try some props, explore tips and tricks to help face personal challenges or limitations as well as finding ways to improve stability in your balance practice.

Having spent time understanding, adjusting, trying… We will pull it all together into a flow and round this workshop out with a short meditation followed by relaxation.

Balances explored…

Ardha Chandrasana - Half Moon Pose

Svarga Dvidasana - Bird Of Paradise

Kakasana - Crow Pose

Yogis of ALL Levels welcome.

The outcome - you will leave having had some fun, challenged yourself, and hopefully developed a greater understanding of how to find ease and steadiness in balances and transitions.

Oh and for those who want to stay to chat afterwards… there’s the promise of tea and cake…

Come and Join Me!

About Jan :

Once you find and embrace a continued Yoga practice, you slowly realise just how much it will become a gift that “keeps on giving”.

Over 25 years, my practice has evolved and I am changed because of it. I still love how Yoga makes me feel! Yoga is my emotional and physical anchor, continually strengthening my body and mind, ultimately helping me to find a truer sense of myself. Even today, I’m still loving that there are new to things to learn. I see teaching as a further opportunity to share and work in partnership with students to help them to find joy in their own practice.

Janet’s teaching is influenced by her historical love of Iyengar and Dynamic Vinyasa, and more recently Yin, Gentle and Restorative Yoga.
