About the class

Where do you begin when teaching yoga to a new student? What do you prioritise and what do you set aside? How do you create an environment where different ages, abilities, and body types are welcome? It can feel like a big responsibility to start someone on their yoga journey, but with a few key strategies you can feel confident in delivering classes that help old_people learn from the great tradition of yoga and its modern interpretations. In this workshop for teachers and teacher trainees, you will learn how to organise and structure your beginners class sequences for efficient learning, explore a variety of class and course formats, cue and demonstrate effectively, and become prepared for the variety of common problems and scenarios you might encounter.

** PRACTICAL BITS **

Due to the nature of the Crescent Bakery building, it's ideal to wear layers of clothing for cooler / warmer fluctuations.
