Useful for anybody that sits for large amounts of time in an office chair, in the car or on the sofa. Hips can become tight and immobile with limited movement which can lead to injury.
This is a practical and theory based yoga session on how to care for your hips and psoas interweaving information about anatomy and physiology to help you understand how to strengthen and increase flexibility.
Bertie will show you how to work with your hips and psoas to maximise your flexibility in postures and strengthen to increase stability, with the added bonus of protecting the lower back and knees.
Bertie has taught yoga for 14 years and teaches teacher training for the BWY. This workshop is suitable for yoga students and yoga teachers (CPD points).
** PRACTICAL BITS **
Due to the nature of the Crescent Bakery building, it's ideal to wear layers of clothing for cooler / warmer fluctuations.
