For yoga teachers, yoga teacher trainees + experienced practitioners.
In this course we will explore in detail the anatomy and physiology of our incredible bodies applied to practising and teaching yoga. Each topic that we delve into will be related directly back to the yoga asana practice. There will be a strong focus on using this knowledge of anatomy to make asana practices as inclusive as possible.
The course is ideal for those of you who are yoga teachers or trainees who want to continue to develop your teaching style so that it is up-to-date, empowering, inclusive and accessible. It is also a great option for those of you who are yoga practitioners with an established practice, who want to learn more about your body and go deeper in own yoga practice. We will explore anatomy to a depth that is appropriate for teaching yoga.
Time will be dedicated to exploring the common injuries that students present to class with and looking at the best ways to communicate with and support these students. There will also be dedicated yoga practices throughout the course to ensure that the information is being fully integrated.
* The course will launch in April and run over six months.
* You will have four weeks to complete each pre-recorded module before we move on to the next module as a group.
* Each module will take you between four to five hours to complete in full.
By the end of the course you will feel inspired and empowered to teach yoga to the best of your ability. You will have the confidence to break down any yoga asana with a clear understanding of the key actions and movements and know how best to work with your own unique anatomy and that of your student.
The course is credited by Yoga Alliance (US) and Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK).
The investment to participate in the course is £329.25.
The course will close for bookings on Friday April 23rd.
This is what you will receive as part of the investment:

* A detailed handout with each module (downloadable) adding up to a 70-page manual.
