About the class

Yoga for the rest of your life...

Are you curious about links between yoga and everyday life?

Have you ever found yourself wondering what it all means, or how to determine the right thing to do?

The Bhagavad Gītā discusses these questions – and raises lots more.

Join Daniel Simpson to explore them in four weekly sessions, starting Monday 6th June. Available in studio, online and via replay.

The Bhagavad Gītā’s priorities sound timelessly relevant. It teaches yoga as a way to act wisely in everyday life, and explains how to do the right thing amidst challenging circumstances.

Join Daniel for an engaging exploration of its innovative teachings. Unlike many other yogic texts, it says there’s nothing to renounce except self-centred thinking.

Over four weekly sessions, we’ll look at key passages, discussing what it means to live life as an offering, how social justice is defined, and why seeing the divine that exists in all beings inspires ethical conduct.

The format of the course is accessible and fun. There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions and share ideas. Our overall aim is to reflect more broadly on yoga philosophy and how it relates to modern practice.

Everyone very welcome.

Available in studio, via Zoom and on catch-up. This booking page is for a Zoom space. If you’d like a Studio space, please check out the Studio listing at orangeyoga.co.uk/events.

Daniel is the author of The Truth of Yoga and also teaches courses at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, on teacher trainings and via his website. Find out more at: [http://truthofyoga.com](http://truthofyoga.com/)
