Yoga, gratitude and self-reflection to bring our awareness inward and set intentions for the coming months.
Free to everyone.
The day will be split into the two sets of seasons which will be supported by asana practices, journaling, and intention setting.
We will start focusing on the past Spring and Summer months, using a vinyasa practice. Through this practice starting to embody the feeling of awakening and abundance reflecting the past seasons.
Once we have awakened these we will turn our attention to gratitude and self-reflection exercises.
Marking our half way point with a shared lunch. Please feel free to bring a dish for the 'table'.
In the second half of the day we will move into Autumn and Winter, by slowing our asana practice and beginning to take our awareness to what lies at our core.
After bringing our awareness to the inward we will set intentions for the next months.
This workshop is open to all abilities.
You will require a mat, journal, and warmer layers.
Due to the financial difficulties we are all going to face over the next few months I have decided to remove the cost of this workshop.
My aim is provide a space of healing reflection to prepare for the times ahead.
About Milly :
I found yoga during one of the hardest times in my life. It provided me with a space to connect with myself in a kind and considerate way as well as marvel at what my practice could do; by stepping on the mat, I was able to gain the perspective and strength needed to keep moving forward.
I practice Hatha and try to provide a safe space to experience connection with all aspects on the self that is so powerful for change. I enjoy combining mindfulness techniques, ambient music, and gentle flowing movement in my classes.
After experiencing the ways which yoga heals, I was inspired to learn more and completed my 200hr of training with Orangeyoga . My teaching has given me the opportunity to share the passion I have for yoga’s power to overcome all obstacles. In my day job as a substance misuse nurse I use Pranayama with clients and staff to help them to be more grounded and centred.
My home practice normally is assisted by my pooch, Nate, who is always very happy to cuddle in shavasana.
** PRACTICAL BITS **
Due to the nature of the Crescent Bakery building, it's ideal to wear layers of clothing for cooler / warmer fluctuations.
