Teaching Team :

Anna Ashby – Yoga Asana and Teaching

A senior teacher and trainer in the UK, Anna has been studying and practicing yoga for over 30 years and teaching for over 20. Her teaching has evolved from her study of dance, in-depth training within styles of yoga that focus on alignment and precision, and immersion in a wide variety of yoga practices and teachings while living for 12 years in a yoga ashram in upstate New York in the 1990’s. She specialises in Restorative Yoga where diving deep into embodied experience enables a profound shift of perception and state that supports well-being and integration. Her book, Restorative Yoga: Power Presence Practice for Teachers and Trainees, released in 2022, elucidates and celebrates this powerful style of practice and has become the ‘go to’ guide for the practice. As an experienced teacher trainer over a span of 20 years having founded the triyoga teacher training programme, Anna enjoys curating a learning experience that honours the tradition while innovating to meet the times. She is a registered SYT teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals which demonstrates excellent standards as set by YAP.

During this time Chris developed a deep interest in natural healing. He moved to London in 1996 to take a 4 year degree in Osteopathy, deepening his understanding of western medical models. He is currently on the faculty for both the triyoga and Yoga Haven yoga teacher training courses and also teaches asana and anatomy based workshops.
