Cycling builds fitness - but it also creates stiffness, restricted movement, and fatigue over longer rides. Add desk-based work and the natural effects of aging, and mobility can decline even faster.
This 4-week course is designed to restore flexibility and mobility, helping you ride more comfortably for longer, recover better, and make better use of the fitness you’re already training.
Suitable for road, gravel, and mountain bikers. Fully beginner-friendly - no prior yoga experience needed.
Each week builds progressively, combining:
Cycling-specific mobility and flexibility work
Breathing techniques to support endurance, oxygen efficiency, and recovery
Clear instruction with accessible options
Benefits for cycling include:
Greater comfort on longer rides
More efficient breathing, helping lower heart rate at a given effort
Improved oxygen utilisation, supporting endurance and VO₂ max
Faster recovery and improved HRV
Reduced injury risk and more consistent training
This is the second time the course is being run, following a well-received first run.
** With thanks to our newly qualified teachers for their time **
** PRACTICAL BITS **
Due to the nature of the Crescent Bakery building, it's ideal to wear layers of clothing for cooler / warmer fluctuations.
