Kat's yoga journey started in the jungles of Borneo while she was studying orangutan behaviour in Indonesia. Since returning to the UK, Kat has finished 500hrs TT and is working towards my Yoga Therapy diploma with OrangeYoga. She believes that anyone can do some form of yoga, it might just look different for different people. Her classes are built around students with a focus on strength, flexibility and mobility. The journey isn't always a linear one, but Kat want to give you the tools to really get to know and understand your body.
Kat's classes are an inclusive and safe space to practice, everyone is welcome at any stage of their yoga journey. She is also a hockey player who has experienced a variety of injuries over the years so is always happy to adapt poses so that you can get the most out of your practice.
Kat teaches vinyasa and yin, and sprinkles some hatha and ashtanga into her classes too. She is always happy to break down poses, and work with you to unpick how to make things work for you and your body. Kat is a source of useful (and useless!) knowledge, so don't be afraid to ask her more about yoga (and maybe orangutans!).
