Some things of possible interest

Laura has been teaching yoga since 2016 and has been an avid student of all things “wellbeing” for over 20 years. She continues to learn, read, train and practice from a wide range of sources, looking for tools and inspiration that can help us thrive, on and off the yoga mat. As well as the great yoga teachers she's learned from, Laura's teaching is particularly inspired by her time working for a Natural Movement retreat company, her studies in Positive Psychology and the chakra system.

Laura loves that yoga unites so many disciplines - the biological sciences, philosophy, psychology, subtle energy, spirituality, history, mindfulness and more! There is always something new to explore. Laura sees yoga as a path to self-knowledge and believes that, through the life-long journey of getting to know ourselves better, we can achieve vibrant health, realise our full potential, and create happiness for ourselves and others too.

If that all sounds very serious - it is, and it really isn’t! If we bring a playful curiosity to our yoga practice we can have some fun along the way. Laura loves a good chat, so if you want to discuss anything after class or get a recommendation from her ever-growing library of books then come and say hi. When she's not doing yoga she loves to travel, walk in woods or by the sea, explore cities, and hang out with her family and friends.
