Linney Nutting

Some things of possible interest

Yoga has been in the background of Linney's life for as long as she can remember from a memory of watching her mum practice when she was little, through helping her through two happy and healthy pregnancies and more recently getting her back to full mobility after having a hip replacement in 2019.

Linney qualified 200 hrs with OrangeYoga in 2017, 300 hrs in 2025 and is currently training to become a yoga therapist.

Linney chose to start pregnancy and postnatal training when her daughter in law was pregnant. She did her first training with Poppy Perinatal in 2018 and has since expanded this training with Sally Parkes in 2022 taking both the pre and post-natal course, and advanced post-natal course. She feels this wide range of learning has provided her with a tool-box that can make yoga accessible and practical for both pre and post-natal mums.

Linney appreciates the intuitive way the yoga asanas make her body and joints feel like they have been oiled, the philosophy that gives her a framework for a positive way of living and the pranayama practises that give her mind space to stay sane in our busy world.Yoga should be about everyone being able to feel confident to work with their body and mind to make space and peace within themselves. Linney would like anyone coming to a class to leave with warm muscles feeling like they have worked, a relaxed and peaceful mind and a big smile.
