Some things of possible interest
Maureen loves the steadiness, strength and joy that yoga gives her. She practiced in the Iyengar tradition for a decade before starting her 200 hour training with OrangeYoga in 2019. She has trained in Yin Yoga, Somatics, Pranayama and Yoga Nidra. She also has a 300 hour advanced teacher training.
Maureen enjoys travelling and loves to find local yoga classes where possible. She has practiced often in Thailand, and also in India, Sri Lanka and Australia. She believes that everyone can ‘do’ yoga and seeks to enable everyone to find their own sense of peace and challenge in the body/mind connection of yoga. Following a long career as a mental health nurse, she is honoured to continue supporting mental and physical well-being through yoga.
