Explore our relationship to dynamic alignment and create a more embodied awareness in our yoga practice.
For teachers (and interested students).
- £40 -
The workshop introduces class 1 of Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT) to support exploration of our existing yoga practice.
Through guided poetic imagery, partner work and free movement exploration we will seek to explore our relationship to dynamic alignment and create a more embodied awareness in our yoga practice.
About Nicola :
Since graduating from Trinity Laban in the late 90s, I have been a teacher of dance, movement, yoga and breathwork, with SRT being a foundation of my practice since qualifying to teach the Introductory pedagogy in 2012.
I have introduced this work to countless 16-19 year old dance students as part of their theatre training in West London and have been continually inspired by the deep impact it has on their dance practice and their sense of self.
My freelance yoga teaching has continually been influenced by the rich imagery and depth of SRT work and I occasionally teach workshops that introduce yoga students to Joan’s phenomenal work and the impact it can have on their yoga practice.
I currently teach classes in Pregnancy, Postnatal, Family and Menopause Yoga and all of these classes are informed by my continuing, developing, unfolding relationship with SRT.
