About the class

This is a blended learning course :

* Part 1 - 3.5 hour online interactive theory session.

(link will be sent to you about 6-8 weeks prior to the face to face session)

This part is an online interactive theory session, utilising video clips, self-assessments, notes and fact-sheets.

This covers all the theoretical aspects of the course and must be completed within the 6 weeks prior to the half-day practical session.

The online learning platform is conducted at your own pace, in your own time, enabling you to fit the study around your other commitments. You may complete this course in a much shorter time frame or longer (depending on your previous skills and experience).

This section MUST be completed prior to your face to face session.

* Part 2 - 3.5 hour face-to-face practical session.

Utilising appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) throughout allows us to offer a safe learning environment. By undertaking the theory within the 6 weeks preceding part 2, this enables any questions that have come up in the interim to be dealt with by one of our experienced instructors. It also means that the focus of this class will then be on the practical elements of the course.

***

This is an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Open Course.

Upon completion of both the online course AND the face to face session, you will gain a FAIB approved, 3 year certificate.

Complete the online section of the course prior to the face to face. Please bring the print outs available through the online course.

Please bring a pen and paper.
