About the class

Join the authors of The Physiology of Yoga for a detailed exploration through each major system of the body with plenty of myth busting and mind-blowing insights, all related to yoga.

With time to ask questions, you will be introduced to the latest scientific research about how yoga affects these systems, and you’ll leave with a newfound appreciation of the human body.

This is the only currently scheduled event for 2025 where both Andrew and Matt will be in attendance!

We will explore in depth each main system of the body:

* Musculoskeletal

* Nervous

* Respiratory

* Cardiovascular

* Lymphatic

* Immune

* Endocrine

* Reproductive

* Digestive

For each system, we will:

* Explore the anatomy & physiology of that system

* Touch on the major conditions that affect that system

* Look at relevant research related to how yoga may impact these conditions

* Discuss the relevant “Myth or Fact?” sidebars of the book

* Provide time for Q&A

The course is accredited by Yoga Alliance (US) & Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) and counts as 13 hours of study.

There will be an opportunity for you to have your copy of The Physiology of Yoga signed by Andrew and Matt.

Each day will run from 9.00am – 12.45pm and 1.45pm – 5.00pm

Don’t just take our word for it:

“The Physiology of Yoga course was such a wonderful way to work through this informative, myth-busting new book. I have studied a lot of anatomy, and this book contains lots of new information compared to other widely used texts. I really appreciated getting to spend time with the authors to both create community and have live discussion about these important topics! I highly recommend that all yoga teachers get the book and join the course.”
